    Our management

    Establish and improve systems such as the "Environmental Protection Management System", "Environmental and Occupational Health Management System", "Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Management System", "Quota Management System for Major Energy Consuming Equipment", etc., to ensure that wastewater, waste gas, solid waste, and noise in production and operation meet emission standards after treatment, save resources and energy, promote the implementation of environmental protection work through a scientific green environmental protection system, and promote the comprehensive implementation of clean production in the three major business sectors of mining services, civil explosives, and defense equipment. By implementing technological transformation and upgrading, optimizing production processes, etc., improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, leading the green transformation and upgrading. The environmental management systems of several subsidiaries of Guangdong Hongda comply with the GB/T 24001-2016/ISO 14001:2015 standard, and seven of them have obtained ISO 14001 environmental management system certification, implementing strict environmental management standards and implementing long-term environmental protection mechanisms.

      Conduct climate risk research and identification, evaluate the resilience of enterprises in addressing climate risks, seize future business opportunities brought by climate environment, and develop targeted action plans to enhance their ability to resist risks, ensuring effective response to major risks including extreme weather, and striving to turn crises into opportunities and challenges into opportunities.

       Strengthen energy-saving management and control

      Establish a precise measurement and analysis improvement system for power energy in the civil explosive sector, and achieve a 15% reduction in power energy consumption through optimization of measuring instruments, electric heating transformation, optimization of power supply equipment, and strengthening daily energy consumption supervision; The mining service sector will implement various energy-saving and emission reduction measures in all aspects of mining, beneficiation, and daily production and operation, improving resource utilization efficiency and reducing production energy consumption.

      Clean energy substitution

      Hongda Engineering replaces traditional fuel powered mining trucks with pure electric mining trucks in the Dabaoshan project; The Aurora Gold Mine in Guyana is constructing a photovoltaic power generation project for the selection plant. After completion, the annual average new energy power generation will be approximately 18.4092 million kilowatt hours, reducing diesel consumption by 4224.91 tons per year, equivalent to a reduction of 13287.76 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year in carbon emissions.
